Horizon Europe EIC Pathfinder Project "Emerging technologies for crystal-based gamma-ray light sources" (TECHNO-CLS)

The TECHNO-CLS project aims to achieve a breakthrough in the technologies needed for the design and practical realisation of novel gamma-ray Light Sources (LS) operating at photon energies from ~100 keV up to the GeV range, which can be constructed by exposing oriented crystals (linear, bent and periodically bent) to the beams of ultra-relativistic charged particles.
The fourth workshop of the TECHNO-CLS project will take place at the HUN-REN Institute for Nuclear Research (Atomki) in Debrecen, Hungary. The workshop will bring together members of the TECHNO-CLS consortium to discuss the progress in developing the Crystal-based Light Sources (CLS) technology and to engage with key stakeholders in the future development of CLS.
The Workshop is the fourth annual meeting with stakeholders following the previous TECHNO-CLS workshops held in Ferrara, Italy (October 5-6, 2023), Rethymno, Crete, Greece (October 09-10, 2024), and Bremerhaven, Germany (September 3-5, 2025).
Venue
The workshop will be held at the HUN-REN Institute for Nuclear Research (Atomki) in Debrecen, Hungary. The address of the venue is: Bem square 18/c, 4026 Debrecen, Hungary.
