The second annual workshop of the EIC Pathfinder TECHNO-CLS consortium took place in Rethymno, Crete, Greece during October 09-11, 2024. It was organized by the Institute of Plasma Physics Lasers at the Hellenic Mediterranean University and the MBN Research Center.
The workshop was the second meeting with stakeholders, following the TECHNO-CLS workshop held in Ferrara, Italy, on 5-6 October 2023.
The workshop aimed to bring together the members of the TECHNO-CLS consortium and industry representatives to develop and commercialize the Crystal-based Light Sources (CLS) technology. The workshop also aimed to strengthen links with companies interested in this technology and its applications, and to enable the project to engage with important stakeholders in the future development of CLS. Several private companies participated in the workshop, with a focus on companies interested in developing CLS and bringing it to market, manufacturing commercially viable CLS, and in the applications of CLSs.
