The Fifth International Conference "Dynamics of Systems on the Nanoscale" (DySoN 2018) took place in Potsdam, Germany during October 08-12, 2018. The conference was organized by Prof. Ilko Bald (University of Potsdam) and Prof. Ilia Solov'yov (University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark) with support from the MBN Research Center.
DySoN 2018 was preceded on October 6-7 by a comprehensive training course on multiscale modelling of molecular structure and dynamics of Meso-Bio-Nano (MBN) systems with MBN Explorer and MBN Studio, which took place at the University of Southern Denmark (Odense, Denmark).
DySoN 2018 gathered around 100 participants from many different countries worldwide. A dedicated Topical Issue "Dynamics of Systems on the Nanoscale" of the European Physical Journal D: Atomic, Molecular, Optical and Plasma Physics has also been launched.
